Bob Aufuldish explains: For this competition asking designers to address critical global and social challenges I decided to address optimism, or the apparent lack thereof. The classic visual metaphor of a glass half empty or half full is subverted. I have always wanted to make a poster without any text, and this seemed to be the perfect opportunity to design a poster that communicates without words.
