SWA Group are landscape architects headquartered in Sausalito CA with offices across the US and internationally. SWA sends a holiday greeting to its friends and clients each year. The forms vary from brochures, to cards, to posters, always with the intent to inspire rather than self-promote. For 2009 the announcement was a poster featuring detail of a painting made by Steve Reoutt near Bolinas, CA. Steve, who died in 2008, was a designer, illustrator, design educator, and design historian, as well as a painter.
